Planning the Right Approach
- Coverage & Capacity: We ensure your router and WiFi can actually deliver the gigabit speeds your fibre plan provides.
- Equipment & Cabling: We install the ONT and a capable router, with tidy cabling and wired links to key devices.
- Security & Segmentation: We secure the router, configure static IP or port forwarding safely and add guest networks where needed.
- Documentation & Support: We record the fibre setup and settings so support and future upgrades are straightforward.
How Our Process Works
- Assessment: Review the site, existing environment, users, requirements and the problem to be solved before selecting equipment or changing configuration.
- Solution Design: Choose the scope, equipment, configuration and implementation approach around compatibility, capacity, security and budget.
- Installation / Configuration: Carry out the agreed work methodically while protecting the existing environment and business continuity where relevant.
- Testing & Validation: Test the system against the intended use case rather than assuming that installation alone means the solution is complete.
- Documentation & Handover: Provide the key configuration, ownership and maintenance information needed for support, future changes and responsible administration.
Why Professional Fiber Setup Matters
- Prevents paying for gigabit fibre while a weak router bottlenecks it
- Ensures full fibre speed reaches every room, not just the ONT
- Configures static IP and port forwarding securely for servers and VPN
- Avoids interference and WiFi issues that mask fibre's real performance
- Delivers a reliable, correctly optimised connection for work and streaming
